Since 2019, we have been building the Blue Velvet 1990 brand in Germany with great enthusiasm and commitment.
Blue Velvet 1990 produces premium jeans in Italy. They are manufactured fairly in manufacturer quality (small series of between 50 and 150 pairs of trousers per model).
A fair, sustainable product costs more to produce, but cannot be compared in quality to mass-produced goods and is therefore worn for much longer.
The response from our customers is consistently positive, which motivates us to keep sustainable production within Italy and not to integrate countries that produce textiles with unfair working conditions.
